Pentre Bach House and its three cottages are set in three acres of land overlooking Cardigan Bay, with dramatic Cader Idris and its fellow mountains outside the back door.
Situated just south of the well known coastal town of Barmouth in the village of Llwyngwril, Pentre Bach is the ideal location for a wonderful holiday whether it be action packed or relaxing with a bottle of wine.
This is a great place for spending the days inhaling lung-fulls of briny air on the beach, climbing hills and playing games in the great outdoors, followed by evenings around the supper table and in front of the fire with books and films. There’s a large field for games, a willow den for the children and a table tennis room.

Dave Barker of Climbing Calls and his brother Jim, were going to run the Great North Run (13.1 miles) together for the third time on Sunday September 30th 2007. Unfortunately Jim was not well enough to make the journey North or take part. So Dave ran it anyway with the wheelchair and a big bucket in 3 hours, 18 minutes and 46 seconds, collecting donations of £169.61 on the way round!
They are again trying to raise money for the Bendrigg Trust.
The trust are a registered charity and run an Outdoor Activities centre (Bendrigg Lodge) in the Lake District, where disabled and disadvantaged people can try a variety of outdoor activities. Jim and Dave have been on holiday to Bendrigg 12 times and still have a fantastic time each year.
Last year we finished in 3hrs 06m 23s and raised £2,600 for the centre. This year we are hoping to beat both targets!!!
You can help them get to their target by supporting them through their JustGiving Website at Dave&Jim
John Cooper - Children with Leukemia
Paul’s Uncle, John Cooper has also ran for the last two years raising money for Children with Leukemia. You can watch him just before the finish line shaving 27 seconds of last years time, coming in at 3 hours 30 minutes and 30 seconds!
Just purchased your first canoe and not sure if or where to drill that first hole or have you had your canoe for a while and need skid plate kits. Then Adventure Agents can help. We can run half day workshops to help you fit your boat out with or without all the bells and whistles.
Please contact us regarding this service and we will be more than happy to choose a time and location to suit.
In mid July, Dave Barker of www.climbingcalls.co.uk, successfully climbed several peaks in Kuksay, China.
The Kuksay Glacier is located in the Western Kun-Lun on the eastern side of the Muztagh-Ata Massif and only a few small climbing teams have been there before this expedition. The region is very interesting for climbers because a lot of amazing virgin mountains surround the glacier and the most part of them are very difficult for climbing - they have very steep snow and ice slopes with icefalls, steep ridges and vertical rock walls. More than ten beautiful peaks of 5300-5800 m are located on the eastern side of the Kuksay Glacier.
